Player profiles:
Heidi (by Waller) : Currently taking early retirement after an A+E breeze. On the surface the organised member of the team, but on closer examination this certainly does not hold up. Persistent, determined and very very loud; without her we would not be leaving a week late....more likely a month....at least.
Always positive and smiling and astonishingly tolerant I have no doubt the next 10 months will truly be 'like a holiday'!

Waller (by Heidi): Well known for his 'if everyone else is happy then I'm happy attitude'..... who better to embark on this 'adventure' with than the mellow surfer dude with an excellent red wine palate who spends his working hours saving lives, or so he would have you believe. With his love of Africa and adventurous spirit he'll greet all agro with a watcha and smile which has got him thus far.

The Rival (by Waller and Heidi): The Beast turns 17 this year and is getting geared up for the trip of his lifetime. New off-road tyres, a tent for a hat, a few drill holes and a full medical; his 173,00 miles aren't going to hold him back.

Here are some photos of the leaving do and build up to departure.

Planned to leave on the 20th but a few visa and purchasing delays later we are leaving today. (27th Feb).
