Apologies for long gap with updating.
We are now in Jordon heading to Petra tomorrow.
Highlights of the last fortnight:
Being the only tourists in Turkey and Syria - most of the ruins and castles (aka Waller's playground) to ourselves to scramble up walls and down into dark pits.
Endless teas and coffees with friendly locals discussing politics and religion! (or rather being talked to about the above).
Having the chief of police haggling for a hotel room for us because they didn't want us to camp in the car park! even offered us the police station in Jordan.
Floating in the Dead Sea

Excitement?!
We now have one working lock into the car - unfortunately it is the boot thanks to a screwdriver in Iskenderum (Turkey).
One broken window thanks to the same screwdriver wielding locals in Iskenderum.
Being shown a video of Abu Hamza by a Syrian local who then proclaimed his undying support for him (we made a swift retreat).

Here are some photos to try and make this a little more interesting! - Hasn't worked, will try at different cafe soon.
